February Student of the Month

                  

Cheyanne Boggus

Cheyanne Boggus was selected by our Optimist Club as the Student of the Month for February, 2011.

Cheyanne is a student at Belen High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Staters, the Cross Country team, USA Track and Field and the Belen Show Choir. Cheyanne has volunterred for parade functions, USATF Regionals , Coats for Kids, our Optimist Club's Breakfast with Santa. She was the chairperson for a canned food drive and has volunterred for Relay for Life. Her future plans are to attend college and pursue a degree in theater or law.

The teacher who encouraged and inspired Cheyanne to succeed at Belen High School is Mark Gracia, her calculus teacher.
